Transcript Requests
Note: Please make sure you verify that your grade(s) are posted to your unofficial transcript at my.maricopa.edu prior to ordering an official transcript. Grades posted in RioLearn may not yet be posted to your official transcript.
Rio Salado will not automatically send transcripts, nor will a university automatically request them for the student. It is a good idea to keep an unofficial copy of your transcripts for your records. As of July 1, 2001, all official transcript requests cost $5.00. Transcripts will not be sent until the fee is paid. There is no fee for an unofficial transcript.
There are four ways to obtain a transcript:

Current student may requests their transcripts through their Student Center at my.maricopa.edu. - In Person:
Complete the Transcript Request Form. Go to the Cashier's office and pay the $5.00 fee. You must have a photo ID to request an official or unofficial transcript. The official transcript request form must be signed.

Complete the Transcript Request Form. Be sure to include the student's full name, social security number, date of birth, telephone number, dates of attendance at Rio Salado, official or unofficial transcript request, and the name and address of the institution where the transcript needs to be sent. Be sure to sign and date the letter and pay the $5.00 fee. You may pay by check, credit card or money order. The official transcript request form must be signed.

Fax requests require a credit card payment, please include your credit card on the request form. The official transcript request form must be signed.

Official transcripts will not be issued to students having outstanding debts to any of the Maricopa Community Colleges. The release of transcripts is governed by the guidance of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.
