Online GED Test Preparation
Rio Salado College provides the opportunity for students to prepare for the GED test online. This online GED preparation program has been revised to reflect the skills needed for the new exam. There is a $75.00 charge for the online preparation program plus the cost of materials. You can register by calling 480-517-8540 or 1-800-729-1197.
Required Materials:
The book required for the Online GED Preparation Program is: GED: The Complete Book (with FX-260 Calculator). This book comes with the calculator that is used for the calculations portion of the Mathematics test. The cost of the book is approximately $36.00.
Class Information:
Once enrolled in the class, students will have access to online course materials for a period of 14 weeks. Students are expected to complete all course work within that 14- week period. After the 14 week period is over, students that have not completed the course will be required to pay an additional $75.00 in order to continue the Online GED Preparation class.
Note: this class offers preparation for the actual GED test. The test itself must be taken at an official testing center. Contact the Arizona Department of Education, Adult Education Services at 602-258-2410 for information on official testing centers.
