The Employee & Organizational Learning department offers a variety of programs to help Rio Salado employees learn about the college and equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful.
Employee training is offered online, in person and at monthly brown bag sessions.
New employees are introduced to Rio Salado’s culture through The Rio Way, a customized training that consists of both in person and online elements. Employees have the opportunity to meet college administrators, learn about Rio’s history, and attend a three-day in person workshop to enhance the online lessons.
Ongoing training opportunities are made available to all employees. Trainings such as StrengthsQuest, and the Speed of Trust, by Stephen M.R. Covey, have been made available to employees.
In addition, customized training sessions are also created to meet specific department needs.
