Dental Assisting Accreditation Status: approval without reporting requirements, teach out
The Rio Salado College Clinical Dental Assisting Program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA) and has been granted the accreditation status of “approval without reporting requirements, teach out.” The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education.

The Rio Salado College Clinical Dental Assisting Program is no longer accepting new applicants. The program has been discontinued as of July 30, 2018.

New students who are interested in Dental Assisting degree and certificate programs are encouraged to contact a Rio Salado advisor to explore other options at Rio Salado or at other Maricopa County Community Colleges. Students who are receiving financial aid at Rio Salado should check with the Financial Aid office on any changes to their current program of study.
