Participation in Sustainability
Part of “thinking green” and beyond means joining with other organizations striving to make a difference.
"It is making sustainable efforts a part of your life and your daily routine."
April 2009: America's Greenest Campus (AGC) is the first nationwide contest among colleges to reduce the carbon footprints of their students, faculty, alumni and staff. Using advanced carbon tracking and reduction software from Climate Culture, America's Greenest Campus tracks the participation and carbon reductions from campuses across the country.
Do you have an @riosalado.edu email address? Then you can register to help reduce Rio’s collective carbon footprint! By signing up at www.AmericasGreenestCampus.com, you can start helping Rio reach the top of the Leader Board and beat the competition in gaining the most members and highest carbon reduction per participant. The contest ends on October 5th, so sign up now at http://americasgreenestcampus.com.
