How to Participate in the Graduation Ceremony
We want to invite all our ABE graduates to the GED Graduation but you must notify us of your success in one of two ways after you receive your GED diploma in the mail.
- You can return to your GED class to share your important news with your teacher and classmates. Then your instructor will give us your name and address so we can mail you a GED Graduation letter.
- Please call the ABE department at 480-517-8112 to report your success and receive your letter.
In either case, follow the guidelines in the letter and you will later receive a second, more detailed letter from us.
Special Accommodations
If you are a student needing special accommodations you will need to make arrangements by contacting Lily Beth Brazones in the Adult Basic Education department at 480-517-8135 or by email no later than two weeks before graduation. An interpreter for the hearing impaired will be on stage during the ceremony.
Photographs & Graduation DVDs
- Photos of graduates receiving their diploma on stage will be available by Grad Trak Graduation Images. Proofs of these photographs will be available online after the event”. DVDs of the graduation will be available for purchase from the college. Details will be included in the graduation letter you will receive.
