Earn your degree from a Community College and University -- all at the Communiversity! Rio Salado is the coordinating institution of the Communiversity concept with our location in Queen Creek, Arizona. At the Communiversity locations, students can earn certificates, and associate through master's degrees while taking online, in-person and hybrid classes from the partnering institutions. Students also benefit from taking up to 90 credits at community college pricing.
Touro University Worldwide
Rio Salado College has partnered with Touro University Worldwide (TUW) to offer students TWO new, fully online educational opportunities.
Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification
Rio Salado College will accept, transfer, and apply up to 12 academic credits from Touro University Worldwide’s Bachelor’s of Psychology degree program toward the Rio Salado Post Baccalaureate (PB) Teacher Certification Programs in elementary, secondary, and special education. To help Rio Salado College students build upon their associates degree, Touro University Worldwide offers fully online bachelor’s degree completion programs in Business and Management or Psychology. Plymouth State University
Rio Salado College is pleased to partner with Plymouth University. Our partnership offers unique opportunities for students who have completed a bachelor’s degree and either the Adult Learning and Development certificate or the Adult Learning Coaching Development certificate of completion program at Rio Salado College. Students can earn a Master of Adult Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction from Plymouth University and will be allowed to submit a portfolio of their Adult Learning and Development or Adult Learning Coaching Development certificate courses to satisfy some of the degree requirements. University of Washington
Rio Salado College is pleased to partner with the University of Washington to provide general education transfer credits to assist you with the completion of your bachelor’s degree. If you are short of the 70 transferable quarter credits needed to qualify for the UW’s Undergraduate Online Degree Completion program, Rio Salado College can help. Our convenient online courses start almost every Monday, and seamlessly transfer to partnering institutions.
The UW/Rio Salado College may allow for reverse transfer credit, letting you potentially earn your degree at a regionally-accredited institution. Prior to enrolling at Rio Salado College, you must work with a UW advisor to determine your eligibility for admission and transfer acceptability of Rio Salado college credits. It is the responsibility of the student to provide Rio Salado with a list of approved courses from the UW. Learn more.
