Program Site
Stirling (population 35,000), located in central Scotland, is an attractive, ancient town that has played a pivotal role in Scotland's history. The city combines unique historical treasures with modern shopping and leisure facilities, thereby catering to all tastes.

Academic Program Highlights
With 12 percent of its students coming overseas and more than seventy nations represented on its campus, the University of Stirling is a truly international institution. It consistently receives high rating for teaching and research and has over thirty years experience in study abroad. Eligibility
3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale; completion of 15 or more credits at time of application; transcripts; three letters of recommendation; statement of purpose; minimum age 18.

Student Life
Student can pick from variety of university accommodations, including on-campus residence halls or chalets, or rooms in flats on or off campus. All of which are without board. There are approximately 2,300 residential places on-campus and the centrally situated facilities.

Costs
The cost of a semester may vary as changes occur in the economies and currencies of the U.S. and Scotland. The factors listed below are used to calculate program costs.

  • Tuition at Rio Salado College (assessed according to the student's residency status).
  • Program costs in Scotland, including instruction, housing, application and orientation fees, insurance, books and field trips.
  • Transportation to Scotland.

Financial Aid
Any financial aid for which students are eligible during the course of their study at Rio Salado College, including Pell Grants, can be used toward the cost of the program in Scotland.
