
Program Site
Dundee (population 150,000), the "City of Discovery," is located in eastern Scotland at the month of the River Tay estuary. Its magnificent riverside setting makes it a perfect touring base for Fife (historic towns such as St. Andrews), Perthshire, and Angus, with the countryside and the Sidlaw Hills just a short drive from the city center. The large student population, together with a wide variety of recreational and cultural attractions, lend Dundee a young and lively atmosphere.
Academic Program Highlights
The University of Dundee offers an excellent academic program with two-thirds of its department or schools having received "excellent" or "highly satisfactory" teaching quality assessment ratings. The academic calendar is based on the US semester scheduled. Students can choose courses from the following academic faculties: arts, and social science, art and design, life science, engineering, and physical science.

Eligibility
3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale; completion of 15 or more credits at time of application; transcripts; three letters of recommendation; statement of purpose; minimum age of 18 years.
Student Life
The university campus (13,500 students) is centrally located in the city of Dundee. The city's main pedestrian zone with its many shops, cinemas, theatre, restaurants and bars, and watch the waterfront promenade are within a five-minute walk of the campus.

The cost of a summer program may vary as changes occur in the economies and currencies of the U.S. and abroad. The factors listed below are used to calculate program costs.
- Tuition at Rio Salado College (assessed according to the student’s residency status).
- Program costs abroad, including instruction, housing, application and orientation fees, insurance, books and field trips.
- Transportation to the designated country.‚
Financial Aid
Any financial aid for which students are eligible during the course of their study at Rio Salado College, including Pell Grants, can be used toward the cost of the program in Ireland.
