Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI), Morocco, is a state-of-the-art university with well-developed and modern facilities. The 20-acre campus is located in the resort community of Ifrane in the Middle Atlas Mountains. AUI was conceived as a Moroccan university, grounded in the historic strengths of African, Arab, and Islamic culture. At the same time, it is modeled in its organizational structure, curriculum, language and teaching methods on the American system of higher education.Program Description:
Students choose from six different tracks. Courses offered in beginning to advanced Arabic Languages, Modern Colloquist Arabic, North African Culture, North African History, North African Art & Architecture, Islamic Civilization, and Economic Development in the Middle East.Program Duration

Students live in spacious, on-campus residence halls. All rooms are Internet compatible. AUI offers a full array of student organizations from sports to music. There is a medical clinic on campus as well as a running track, Olympic size pool, and student union and bookstore.Costs
The cost of a summer program may vary as changes occur in the economies and currencies of the U.S. and abroad. The factors listed below are used to calculate program costs.
- Tuition at Rio Salado College (assessed according to the student’s residency status).
- Program costs abroad, including instruction, housing, application and orientation fees, insurance, books and field trips.
- Transportation to the designated country.‚
Costs Included:
Tuition, room and board, orientation, pickup and transportation from the Casablanca airport, all course-related field trips, student ID card and medical insurance.Costs Not Included:
- Tuition at Rio Salado College (assessed according to the student's residency status).
- Program costs in Morocco, including instruction, housing, application and orientation fees, insurance, books and field trips.
- Transportation to Morocco.

Financial Aid
Any financial aid for which students are eligible during the course of their study at Rio Salado College, including Pell Grants, can be used toward the cost of the program in Morocco.For More Information
