All GED and ESOL students from Rio Salado’s ABE Program who decide to take part in the Transition Program can apply for the Transition scholarship. It is for those students with financial need to help them get started in college.

The scholarship:

1. Pays for up to 6 credit hours at any of the Maricopa Community Colleges during the students first two semesters.
2. Pays for registration fees and any special fees connected to the class the scholarship is paying for.
3. Pays for an additional class in college survival skills for GED students who wish to have more support their first semester.
4. Lets you get started immediately while Transition advisors help you find out more about financial aid.
