In order to pursue a certificate or degree from Rio Salado College (or if you plan to transfer to complete a bachelor's degree), you will need to have your prior education verified.
You must complete one of the following:
1. Successful Completion of Prior College Credit
Please submit an official sealed transcript from a prior U.S. college or university (this includes military credit, CLEP and DANTES). If you submit a transcript with non-passing grades, an additional review process may be required.

Note: For the purpose of Prior Education Verification, all transcripts from non-regionally accredited colleges and universities can be submitted. However, the courses from non-regionally accredited institutions cannot be transferred to the college or applied to the completion of a certificate, degree or program of study. 2. High School Graduation OR GED

If you are a high school graduate, official transcripts from your graduating high school or state education records archives office must be mailed or sent electronically to Rio Salado College. Self-submissions are not accepted.

- General Educational Development (GED) Test
If you hold a GED, confirmation of successful GED completion must be submitted to Rio Salado College by the state or agency that issued the GED to you. Self-submissions are not accepted.

3. Other Legally Recognized High School/GED Equivalent (Home School Completion)
To authenticate completion of a legally recognized equivalent to high school or the GED, such as completion of home schooling, applicants must certify a transcript of completion. Please follow these guidelines to submit the Home School High School Transcript, and submit it by U.S. Mail to:
