In order to pursue a certificate or degree from Rio Salado College (or if you plan to transfer to complete a bachelor's degree), you will need to have your identity verified / authenticated.
Students Living in Arizona
Verification of U.S. citizenship or lawful presence is required by the state of Arizona’s Proposition 300 and House Bill 2008.
Arizona students must provide one of the following as a scanned color copy:
- A current valid Arizona Driver’s License
Your license cannot be used if issued by the states of:
Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington.
- A current valid Arizona Identification Card
- United States Passport or Passport Card (current or expired)
- United States Military ID Card (Active Duty, Reserve and Retired)
Students Living Outside the State of Arizona
You are required to verify your identity before you can enroll in classes. This is an institutional policy in place to protect students from identity theft.
MUST provide one of the following as a scanned color copy:
- A current valid driver’s license issued in another state, territory, or possession of the United States.
- A current valid State Issued Identification Card
- United States Passport or Passport Card (current or expired)
- United States Military ID Card (Active Duty, Reserve and Retired)
