Established in 1909, the Arizona Dental Association (AzDA) is a nonprofit professional organization representing over 2000 dentists statewide. Component organizations are the Central Arizona Dental Society (CADS), Northern Arizona Dental Society (NADS) and Southern Arizona Dental Society (SADS).

As a constituent society of the American Dental Association, AzDA encourages improvements in public oral health and promotes the art and science of dentistry through leadership, education and information.

American Dental Assistants' Association

The mission of the American Dental Assistant's Association is to advance the careers of dental assistants and to promote the dental assisting profession in matters of education, legislation, credentialing and professional activities which enhance the delivery of quality dental health care to the public.

DANB is the nationally recognized premier certification and credentialing agency for dental assistants. Since 1948, the Dental Assisting National Board, Inc. (DANB) has played a vital role in the oral healthcare community. Recognized by the American Dental Association (ADA) as the national credentialing agency for dental assistants and accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), DANB serves the public good by providing a means of identifying qualified and competent dental assistants and by measuring and promoting excellence in oral healthcare delivery.
