About us

The Rio Salado College School of Dental Hygiene offers the highest accredited dental hygiene program in the state of Arizona. Located in Phoenix, it has been training students and meeting the dental needs of community members since 1998. The school represents a partnership between Rio Salado and the Arizona Dental Association and Delta Dental Insurance to ease a critical shortage of highly-skilled dental hygienists in the state.

Services

Rio Salado Dental Hygiene students spend time in a classroom setting, as well as practicing dental hygiene on actual patients at the school’s clinic. The school offers dental cleanings for $25. Students also donate their time to provide dental cleanings for homeless patients through Central Arizona Shelter Services. For more information, contact the school at 480-517-8020.
