About Us
Rio @ West Valley, located on Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, Arizona, offers in-person classes for military personnel and community members with clearance. Through FasTrack students can work full time and still earn up to 18 credit hours per semester with the program’s accelerated eight-week sessions.
Services
Rio @ West Valley offers many services to meet the needs of the community, including:
- Advising (restricted access)
Weekdays, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. by appointment.
- National Test Center (restricted access)
Provides CLEP and DANTES testing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8:30am and 12:30pm. No charge for military. Civilians pay $80 + $15 for test administration. Call ahead for appointment.

Entrance Instructions
If you have a pass, go one traffic light north of Glendale Ave on Litchfield Rd. Turn right onto Lightening Road and proceed to guard station. If you must obtain a pass, go south one traffic light from Glendale Ave to the South Gate Visitor Center to obtain a one-day pass.
You’ll need your driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and the vehicle registration with you to get the pass. You may also be requested to have an escort to get on base. Call 480-377-4010 (Rio office on-base) 2-3 days in advance of your visit!
We generally will not escort anyone onto Luke AFB for either advisement or testing. Other Rio locations do not have these restrictions, but do have most of the services you require.
