Rio Salado College is one of eight community colleges within the Maricopa Community College district that offers the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing. A new curriculum is being introduced for RN students beginning the program in fall 2006. During the transition, there will be a group of students in the old curriculum and a group of students in the new curriculum.

If you were admitted in January 2006 as a block 1 student, you are in the old curriculum. Any advanced placement students admitted in fall 2006 will join block 3 and also be in the old curriculum. Your expected graduation date is May 2007.

If you are a RN student who is beginning block 1 of the nursing program in fall 2006, you will be in the new curriculum. Advanced placement students who are admitted in summer 2007 will be in the new curriculum. Your expected graduation date is December 2007.
