Through our collaborative partnerships, we provide a variety of services and programs for students and members of the community to get a head start on their college careers; transition to higher education opportunities; receive on-the-job training for college credit; transition from military to civilian life; and engage in lifelong learning.

Rio Institute for Employee Development

The Rio Institute for Employee Development’s mission is to partner with corporations, government agencies and associations to provide quality education and customized training to develop a superior educated workforce. Rio Salado’s career-path programs provide employees with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

Program-Based Partnerships

We assist in easing critical workforce shortages in such areas as teaching, nursing, dental assisting and many other occupations. We partner with hospitals, law enforcement agencies, school districts, and other industry leaders to develop the most relevant programs and courses needed in the communities we serve.

Community Parnerships

We work with a variety of organizations to provide students of all ages, backgrounds and socio-economic status the training and education they need to become more self-sufficient, improve their job skills and be empowered by cultural enrichment and lifelong learning. These unique alliances develop programs that ultimately prepare residents of Maricopa County for the next stage of their lives.
