Student - Caremark
Credit by Examination is available to Caremark employees who are interested in earning college credit by completing a comprehensive in-class examination at the conclusion of their SALES training session. The Credit by Examination program consists of the following four courses totaling 12 college credits.

- The reduced rate for college education partners is $34.50 per credit hour.
- Fees are non-refundable after the examinations have been administered. All fees are subject to change without prior notice.
- Complete the Credit by Examination Application form.
- Pay total contract rate amount of $414.00 for 12 credits (select payment option on Credit by Examination Application form). Rio Salado will mail a receipt once payment has been processed.
- Complete the Certificate of Completion form.
- Complete Caremark’s comprehensive in-class examination.
- Rio Salado will obtain your examination scores from Caremark and a letter grade will be awarded to each student. See below for policies regarding grades. Final grade reports from Rio Salado can be viewed online four to six weeks after examination completion.
- Only grades of A, B, or C earned through the Credit by Examination process will be recorded on a student’s academic record. Credit will be awarded for a grade of “C” or better.
- Grades earned from the examination will be used in computing a student’s grade point average.
- Students may not receive credit for courses in which they have already received college credit and no partial credit shall be awarded.
- All students who are unable to complete the assessment(s) will not receive any credit for the courses.
- Fees are non-refundable after the examination has been administered regardless of results.
- Examinations may not be retaken.
- Credit earned through Credit by Examination is transferable within the Maricopa County Community College District as elective credit. Credits are accepted by other colleges and universities at their discretion.
