Adults Achieving a College Education (ACE)
Rio Salado offers at-risk, financially disadvantaged and/or first generation college students the ability to complete their GED and make a smooth transition to higher education through the Adult ACE (Achieving a College Education) program. This scholarship-based college preparation program is for adults, 16-years-of-age or older, and is a service of the ABE Transition Program.
Rio Salado focuses on providing Adult Basic Education, continuing education and lifelong learning opportunities to the communities we serve. Through the Adult ACE program, our goal is to encourage ambitious people like you to work towards an associate degree and beyond. This 18-month program will provide the aptitude, confidence and educational foundation you need to become a college graduate.

Type of Classes
- First semester/term - College and Career Preparation class and college student enrichment activities
- All remaining semesters - a combination of communication, English, GED preparation, mathematics and reading classes
