No matter what your current English skill level is, Rio Salado College has a class to help you learn English at your own pace. Rio Salado offers non-credit classes for legal residents who are 16 years or older who want to improve their English language skills.
The English Language Acquisition for Adults (ELAA) program has six different levels of instruction and requires no prior English instruction or testing. Students at all levels of English comprehension can take these in-person classes.
ELAA classes provide a vital service to many Arizona residents. Rio Salado’s ELAA classes help individuals focus on listening, reading, speaking and writing the English language.
There is a registration fee for ELAA classes based on a sliding scale. Go to the Fee Guidelines.
