Dramatic Arts Education PreK-12

Post-Baccalaureate courses are designed for individuals who have a bachelor's degree or higher (in any area) from an accredited university and would like to become a teacher.

You may want to choose a program where you can build your own timeline. Students in the Dramatic Arts Education program are preparing to teach grades PreK-12. This program requires 24-30 credits including in-person field experience in many of the courses as well as a twelve-week student teaching experience. The PreK-12 Dramatic Arts certificate requires an Arizona Educator Exam (AEPA/NES).

Required Credits for Initial 3-year Provisional Dramatic Arts Certificate (K-12) 24-30
LEVEL I: Prerequisites: Educator Preparation Program Admission Application and Certification Admission Plan (CAP) forms and Enrollment at Rio Salado required.
All classes must meet the 3.0 overall GPA. Courses with a final grade of ā€œDā€ or ā€œFā€ must be retaken regardless of GPA.
