Secondary Education Grades 7-12

Post-Baccalaureate courses are designed for individuals who have a bachelor's degree or higher (in any area) from an accredited university and would like to become a teacher.

I want a planned schedule...

For a full time applicant interested in a pre-determined schedule for program completion, you may want to consider the following start dates.

August 2014 October 2014

I need flexibility...

Students in the Secondary Education program are preparing to teach grades 7-12. This program requires 38 credits including in-person field experiences in many of the courses as well as a 9-week (45 instructional days) student teaching experience. Secondary students must choose a content area for certification. In Arizona it is not required that students have a degree in the chosen content area, but they must verify content proficiency through the passage of a state-approved content exam (AEPA/NES).
