The Teacher-In-Residence (TIR) programs is accepting students/applications for the Fall 2014 semester through September 15, 2014. Applications for the Spring 2015 semester are being accepted after this date. TIR applications will begin being processed on December 1st, 2014 for the Spring 2015 semester. Limited Holiday Hours: The Educator Preparation Programs will have limited hours the week of November 24th - 26th and December 22nd - 23rd. Call for an appointment. Closed November 27th/28th and December 24th - January 2nd. Normal office hours will resume on Monday, January 5th.

Teacher-In-Residence Programs

The Teacher-In-Residence Intern Programs allow students who already hold a bachelor's degree to receive employment in a classroom while simultaneously completing their education coursework toward certification. The Post-Baccalaureate Teacher-In-Residence Programs are approved by the Arizona Department of Education.

To work in the programs, students must be recommended by a school district for full-time employment, have successfully passed the Arizona Education Proficiency Assessment (AEPA) in the content for which they are employed, passed Accuplacer, provide a current IVP fingerprint card, and have completed a course/workshop in Structured English Immersion.
