Spring 2016 In-Service Schedule

Investigator Training

Rio Salado College is now offering the Investigator Training course in a hybrid modality. A hybrid course is a blend of in-person and online classes. There are 3 lessons during the 16 weeks which requires in-person attendance. The remainder of the course is conducted online. This hybrid course offers more flexibility to those who cannot attend in-person on a weekly basis such as officers who live/work in neighboring counties.

on Wednesdays 1630-2100 at Communiversity in Surprise   

January 13, 2016 - first in person meeting
March 2, 2016 - in person meeting

April 27, 2016 - last in person meeting

Course fees:

$84 per credit hour, plus $15 registration fee per semester. Payment must be made 35 days prior to class start date.

Additional fees may be charged for non-residency.

Search Warrant Preparation

NEW for FALL 2015! Rio Salado College now offers an online Search Warrant Preparation course for law enforcement professionals. This class provides an overview of statutes, constitutional requirements, and case law covering searches, seizures, and detentions relative to the search warrant process. It also includes procedures and tactical considerations for obtaining and serving search warrants, and reviews documentation of probable cause related to property, persons, and drug-related crimes in a search warrant affidavit.
