Rio Salado’s paralegal program provides you with an overview of the foundations and types of law including business and tort law, and the fundamentals of litigation. Courses include Foundations of the Paralegal Profession, Legal Writing, Ethics for the Paralegal and Law Office Technology.
Paralegal Careers
Paralegals positions exist in the legal and business sectors. Most jobs are found in law firms, government, corporations, real estate firms and nonprofits. Within these organizations, paralegals can work in many different areas of the law, including litigation, personal injury, corporate, criminal, labor and employment, bankruptcy, immigration and family law.
