KJZZ HOLDS PLEDGE DRIVE

Rio Salado College Radio Station KJZZ (91.5 FM) is currently holding its spring fundraiser. The pledge drive, which goes to support the local radio station, runs March 22 through March 27. KJZZ listeners are encouraged to call in and pledge their financial support of the station that offers some of the best programming in the Valley.

Volunteers are expected to answer more than 5,000 phone calls during the five day event. General Manager Carl Matthusen says he hopes to raise half a million dollars over the next few days for KJZZ. Since 1951, KJZZ has been providing Valley residents with a mixture of news and great music for listening. KJZZ recently added a new Latino Affairs Desk covering issues affecting the growing Latino population.
