Rio Salado College Holds Career Fair for Prospective Teachers

Rio Salado College will host its fifth annual Teacher Career Fair Thursday, March 29 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Rio Salado Conference Center.

More than 25 school districts from around the state will participate in the fair. Human Resources staff will be available for interviews from Cave Creek, Deer Valley, Kyrene, Washington and dozens of other school districts.

New graduates and those anticipating a May completion date are especially invited to attend and interview for a fall teaching slot. The event is free and open to the public

Participants are encouraged to bring their resumes and certification. Employment as teachers aides, paraprofessionals and especially special education teachers are needed to fill vacant positions throughout the valley.

Rio Salado College has the only online post baccalaureate program in the state allowing teachers to complete their certification from the comfort of their home.
