PRESS RELEASE
OUTSTANDING FACULTY RECOGNIZED AT RIO SALADO COLLEGE
Thirty outstanding Rio Salado College adjunct faculty members will be recognized at a special luncheon Saturday, August 25.
Rio Salado has more than 1,000 adjunct faculty teaching 450 online courses, a variety of in-person courses and courses for business and industry.
The luncheon is designed to recognize and reward outstanding adjunct faculty and their contribution to the college, said Rio Salado College Faculty Development Coordinators Pat Case and Hazel Davis.
“This is our opportunity to say thank you. They are the heart and soul of the college,” said Case.
Outstanding faculty members are nominated by the faculty chairs. Those named as outstanding faculty are listed in the May graduation program and honored at the special luncheon scheduled for Saturday. A short video highlighting each faculty member is part of the Saturday recognition. A list of those named as outstanding faculty members follows.
