Obtaining Your Transcripts

Note: Please make sure you verify that your grade(s) are posted to your unofficial transcript at prior to ordering an official transcript. Grades posted in RioLearn may not yet be posted to your official transcript.

Rio Salado will not automatically send transcripts, nor will a university automatically request them for the student. It is a good idea to keep an unofficial copy of your transcripts for your records. As of July 1, 2001, all official transcript requests cost $5.00. Transcripts will not be sent until the fee is paid. There is no fee for an unofficial transcript.

There are four ways to obtain a transcript:

  1. Dynamic Form:
    If your transcript needs to include an attachment (e.g. Graduate School, PTCAS, MCAS, etc), please use the Dynamic Form option to request your transcript and upload your attachment.

  2. Online
    Current students may request their transcripts through their Student Center

  3. In Person: 
    Complete the Transcript Request Form. Go to the Cashier's office and pay the the amount due. You must have a photo ID to request an official or unofficial transcript. The official transcript request form must be signed.

    Complete the Transcript Request Form. Be sure to include the student's full name, student ID, date of birth, telephone number, official or unofficial transcript request, and the name and address of the institution where the transcript needs to be sent. Be sure to sign and date the letter and pay the amount due. You may pay by check or money order. Transcript fee can also be paid by calling the Cashier's office at 480-517-8334. The official transcript request form must be signed.

  • Official transcripts will not be issued to students having outstanding debts to any of the Maricopa Community Colleges.
  • Please verify that all grades have been posted in your Student Center. If you wish to have it not sent until a grade is posted, please mark "Hold for grades". Otherwise transcripts are sent with the grades that are included on the Maricopa Student Progress page.
  • Once the request has been received in Student Enrollment Services, the average processing time is 3-5 business days.
  • The release of transcripts is governed by the guidance of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.
