This session will allow the participants to explore and identify their strengths, transferable skills and experience in relation to their future career goals. In this session, the participants will:
- Create a trend analysis that will show common themes that emerge
- Explore their passions, hobbies, and interests
- Link their themes and their interests to new career opportunities
Preparing for Career Transitions
This session will explore the job search cycle - that includes, networking, exploring skills and talents, understanding the job search, building a resume, interviewing skills, and follow up. In this session, the participant will:
- Apply the job search cycle to their current situation
- Practice interviewing
- Develop a plan of action for their job search
Excelling in a Multi-Generational Workplace
This session will examine the four generations that exist in the workplace today and the issues that are emerging. In this session, the participant will:
- Explore the similarities and differences between the generations
- Analyze current situations that are specific to the 50+ workers
- Build strategies for excelling in a multi-generational workplace
