Phone / In-Person

Phone and In-Person Counseling give students a chance to talk one-on-one with a counselor. Counselors listen to students, exchange ideas, and coach students. Often students learn new coping methods that enable them to resolve difficult problems or to view situation differently and apply positive solutions.

All phone and in-person counseling sessions are confidential. Although the focus of the sessions is to assist students with personal, developmental, and psychological concerns related to the education process, students who experience crisis involving traumatic events and / or emotional trauma are supported through referral to outside services.
