All-Arizona Academic Team

There are currently two slots open for Rio Salado College All-Arizona Academic Team candidates. If you have a very high GPA (grade point average) and would like a full scholarship to work on a bachelor's degree plus a cash reward, then see if the following criteria apply to you:

• Cumulative GPA of 3.8 or higher
• Have earned 40 or more credits at Rio Salado College (you may also have earned credits elsewhere, but you need to have earned a large amount at Rio Salado)
• Have earned credits in different academic disciplines (e.g., humanities, social sciences, business, mathematics, etc.)
• Will be enrolling in 6 or more credits for the Fall 2008 semester
• Working toward a certificate or associate degree (those who are in a post-baccalaureate program are ineligible for this scholarship program)
• Will graduate with a certificate or associates degree no earlier than December 2008
• Active participant in some service learning activities (including block watch participation to involvement with charities, a political organization, a religious organization, etc.)

If so, you might be just the person to represent the college for a prestigious All-Arizona Academic Team position! If selected, you will receive a cash award ranging from $500 to $1000 as well as a full two-year renewable scholarship (or four-year renewable scholarship if a part-time student) at one of the three state universities.

Note: If your qualifications fall short of those listed above, then you will be ineligible and there is no need to inquire further.
