This web page contains links to software that you may need to complete your course successfully. When you click on a link from this page, it will open another browser window that can be closed after you have downloaded the software. This will allow you to easily return to this page.

Certain courses may require the purchase and installation of additional software on your computer. This software is not provided by Rio Salado College. Please check your course materials carefully.

We strongly recommend you purchase antivirus software for your computer. The bookstore carries Norton Antivirus, you may also purchase it at most stores that carry software.

	Rio Salado recommends the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser.
	The Adobe Acrobat Reader allows you to view PDF (portable document format) files and is used extensively in Rio Salado courses and on other web sites.
	The Shockwave Player from Macromedia allows your web browser to display interactive mulitmedia web pages. Note: This program also includes the popular Flash player!
	The RealOne Media Player allows your computer to display video movies and is used in several Rio Salado courses.
	Netscape Communicator is an alternative web browser to Microsoft Internet Explorer. Note: Netscape version 6 is not compatible with Rio Salado courses. Please use version 4.7 or higher, but not 6.
