Welcome to Rio Salado’s GoArmyEd proctoring web page. Rio Salado students who live outside of the Maricopa County are required to have their course exams proctored. Here is the process for having your exams administered at a military base or while you are deployed.

1. If you are an GoArmyEd student located at or near one of the bases below contact them directly to schedule a time to test. These bases have an Army Education Center that has been set up for administering Rio Salado proctored exams. The education center has all the necessary information to administer your exams.

2. If you are not at one of the bases above please submit a proctor request form during the first week of your class.
   • Provide your Course Information: course prefix (e.g. CIS, BPC, HUM) and the course number (e.g. 117, 110, 210)
   • The proctor will be the Test Administrator or Test Control Officer (TCO) at the Installation (base, camp, Kaserne, COB, FOB) education center you are stationed at or nearest.
3. If you are deployed or located in a remote location without an Education Center you are responsible for locating a proctor that meets your needs and Rio Salado’s proctoring criteria.
   • Only education officer or commissioned officers, ranked 2LT or higher may proctor exams.
   • If none of the above proctors are available you can use the same resources available to other Rio Salado students. Proctors must be from an accredited university, or college. There must be no conflict of interest in having your proctor administer your exams (e.g. a family member)
   • Fill out the proctor request form with the requested proctor’s name, military rank, military address, and military email address.
   • All correspondence is done through email so we need a valid, military email address.
   • If the proctor is approved, you will receive an email indicating that your exams are ready. e. If your proctor is not approved, we will send you an email indicating that you need to locate a new proctor.

Once your proctor is approved contact your proctor and set up an appointment date and time to take your exam(s).

When you have completed your exam, the proctor sends the testing materials back to the Rio Salado Testing Center.

• You will receive your grade from your instructor.

Important Information:

Email
Testing will email you at your Rio Salado email address first. If you do not have a Rio account, information will be sent to your eArmyU mailbox. Because of potential viruses, email will not be sent to individual email accounts (e.g. Yahoo, MSN, Gmail, etc.).

Extensions
Please contact your instructor to request all extensions. He/she is the only person who may grant the exception to test past the deadline.
