Credit by Examination
The Maricopa Community Colleges recognize that learning takes place in a variety of situations and circumstances. Many students have significant demonstrable learning from experience outside the traditional academic environment. Therefore, prior learning, not life experience, is the basis for the award for the college credit. Credit can be obtained through national standardized tests or departmental credit by examination or evaluation.

All exams are administered by reservation only. Reservations can now be made for Tuesdays and Wednesdays, by calling 623-856-3239. There are two testing sessions; 8:30 am – 12 pm and 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm.
