What is Transparency by Design?
Transparency by Design is a groundbreaking initiative that assists adult learners in becoming educated consumers of online education. The initiative's members are made up of regionally-accredited distance education institutions, including Rio Salado College. The initiative was developed by the Presidents' Forum, a collaboration of accredited, national, adult-serving institutions and programs which have embraced the power and potential of online education.
What it Means for Students
For any student, the decision to pursue an educational goal involves a high level of commitment and resources. Through Transparency by Design, participating adult-serving colleges and universities have created a new website called College Choices for Adults. With this new initiative, students have an opportunity to review institutional data about items such as student and alumni satisfaction, learning outcomes, and program costs. Tuition and Fees
Tuition is charged per academic credit hour, according to a student's residency classification. For Maricopa County residents, tuition is $71/credit. Fees may vary, and will be assessed at the time of registration.
