Many choose Rio Salado for the affordable tuition and flexible online classes that start almost every Monday throughout the year. Rio Salado's online classes are transferable to any of the 10 Maricopa Community Colleges and many major U.S. universities.

A community college is a two-year college (sometimes referred to as a junior college) that a student can attend to complete general education requirements or earn a certificate or degree. Once completed, they can either transfer to a university or receive occupational training and go directly into their chosen job field.
