A Message From President Smith About Our Be A Student's Hero Campaign
Rio Salado College is celebrating Community College Awareness Month throughout April and I invite you to join our first Be A Student’s Hero Day of Giving on Thursday, April 29.
All contributions will go to the Jo C. Bennett Student Assistance Fund that supports students facing critical need. Donations received go directly to students when there is an immediate financial need, in order to prevent situations that may cause them to drop out of classes. Your generosity impacts students who are veterans, first-generation college students, students raising families, students caring for loved ones and students trying to secure their future through education.
Our goal is to exceed $10K in donations to the fund. You can donate on Thursday, April 29 (and you are welcome to give sooner). Please spread the word to anyone that may want to join the excitement of supporting students towards a better future!
