I started my own educational journey at Glendale Community College and have been with Rio for 20 years!

I have multiple certificates and associate degrees from the Maricopa Community Colleges, a bachelor’s degree in Technology Management from Northern Arizona University and am currently pursuing an International MBA in Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University.

My areas of expertise includes managing, scheduling, internet-based education, and providing resources to help others succeed. I've taken the classes and have walked the same steps of those before me!
What I like best about being an advisor:
Being an advisor is rewarding. I enjoy helping students maximize their credits and get the most out of our degree programs. Informing students that they can apply for graduation is always the best part of being an advisor.
Fun Fact:
I am a nerd and gamer at heart when I am not “adulting” or parenting.

I have an associate degree from Rio Salado and Phoenix College. I have also taught at Estrella Mountain Community College.
Areas of Expertise:
My areas of expertise include general advisement, incarcerated students, scholarships, and recruitment events. At present, I am working with first-generation college students who are obtaining their high school equivalency.
What I like best about being an advisor:
I love to give students good news! There is always something to be positive about!
Fun Fact:
When I was a lot younger, I was obsessed with radio contests. I've won my share of concert tickets, resort stays, football games and gift certificates. Winning is fun!
