Rio Salado’s annual Rock Enrollment in-person event is happening this month on Tuesday, June 23. If you’re thinking about taking the plunge into higher learning, come to the Splash Pad in the Rio Tower (2323 W 14th St. in Tempe) to get all your questions answered about enrolling at Rio Salado College.

What to Expect
Hosted by the 10 Maricopa Community Colleges, Rock Enrollment is day dedicated to making enrolling at an MCCCD college a smoother, friction-free process. Faculty and experts at all 10 colleges will be onsite to offer personalized support and guidance, answering questions about enrolling and making sure students are on the right track to start classes.

- Learn about qualifying for a Presidents’ Honors Scholarship (for recent high school grads)

Want to go back to school but worried about paying tuition? Find out about the different funding resources available to you as a student at Rock Enrollment. Learn how you can apply to more than 600 scholarships with a single application! Scholarships can help lower your college costs, covering everything from tuition and books to course fees, without requiring any repayment. Qualifying students may take advantage of the Maricopa Promise, which provides $600 each semester toward the cost of tuition and attendance over four terms.
Free Tuition Opportunity
If you’re a first-time college student AND a resident of Maricopa County, you may qualify for the Presidents’ Honors Scholarship. The Presidents’ Honors Scholarship can provide up to 15 credit hours of free tuition. In order to qualify for this scholarship, you need to have a final unweighted high school GPA of 3.25 or higher and be within one academic year (two semesters) of graduation from high school without having attended another accredited college.
