She honed in on the associate degree program in insurance because it will allow her to advance in her current job.
“I already work in insurance on the customer service side and know there is a need for people in the industry,” she said.

“Two years ago, an IT analyst position became available in my plant and I was chosen to fill it,” Neri-Cordova said.
After graduating with an associate degree, the dividends began paying off.
“I was offered an analyst job with my company’s cybersecurity team in Texas,” Neri-Cordova said. “My kids are excited for this next step in our lives and are ready to experience something new.”
