Dual Enrollment offers a unique college experience for high school students! Rio Salado offers Dual Enrollment courses at select high schools throughout the greater Phoenix area. Courses are held at your high school campus and are taught by qualified teachers using a college-level curriculum.

Registration Steps
To enroll in Dual Enrollment, eligible high school students must complete the Rio Salado College admissions application, register for their assigned dual enrollment courses, and pay all required tuition and fees. Please note that all new freshmen students under 18 must complete the EdReady College Reading Placement Test before registering for classes. Note: Student ID authentication processing can take up to 10 business days.
First-time Dual Enrollment Students
As a first-time Dual Enrollment student, you will need to create an account and apply for admission, set up DUO two-factor authentication, and pay tuition and fees. You must also visit your Student Center to complete your required Dual Enrollment forms, including ID Authentication, Under 18 & FERPA Release, and the Dual Class Form.
Returning Dual Enrollment Students
As a returning Dual Enrollment student, check your high school’s course list to gather your required course information, then visit your Student Center to complete and submit your Dual Enrollment Class Form.
Tuition and Payments
Eligible High school students in Maricopa County can qualify for resident rates on Dual Enrollment courses if they meet Arizona residency requirements. Before paying tuition, students must register for their Dual Enrollment course. Tuition assistance is also available!
