Rio Salado College Alumni Library Privileges

Rio Salado Alumni can check out books and DVDs from the college's library on the fifth floor of the Tower, Rio Salado Tempe Location.

  • Show a photo ID and provide your MEID at the Library Circulation Desk when checking out materials. The Library Staff can reactivate your account if your MEID has expired. 
  • Check out up to 10 items at one time, three of which may be non-book items (DVDs,for example).
  • You can also request items from other Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) Libraries. The library staff can help you with this, or you can search the Library Catalog and use the Place Hold button to request that items be sent to the Rio Salado Library for pickup. Use your MEID and password to self-request items from the catalog.

Did you know that Rio Salado College’s Division of Public Service manages three award-winning public radio stations and a youth media center at the main Tempe location?

Award-winning public radio station, KJZZ, features local and national National Public Radio (NPR), international news, entertainment, classic jazz and blues. Explore these options on 91.5 FM and HD1, online at kjzz.org and with iPhone and Android mobile players. Classic jazz is also available on 91.5 FM HD2 and kjzz.org.
