Employee Engagement & Resource Center
The Employee Engagement & Resource Center (EERC) at Rio Salado College offers programs and activities that seek to inspire, develop, and engage Rio Salado employees.

Onboarding
- Host EERC Rio Wave, a three half-day, in-person onboarding for new employees that explores the college’s culture, teamwork, and future initiatives.
Training and Development
- Conducts online and in-person training throughout the year.
Wellness
- Employees can register for the Fitness Center, exercise on the walking treadmill stations, or take a yoga class online.

Employee Performance
- Oversees the annual review process for employees and the probationary review process for new employees.
- Serves as a resource for supervisors and employees to consult about performance-related issues.
Awards and Recognition
- Awards and recognition programs that celebrate employees and provide opportunities for peer recognition.
- Peer nominations for the annual President's Awards of Excellence.
- A "Years of Service Luncheon" honoring employees who reach five-year milestones with the Maricopa County Community College District.
Culture Building
- Supports college-wide events that encourage employees to learn, grow, and connect with peers.
- Develops employee interdepartmental team-building activities.
- Leads efforts with our Community Engagement Council focusing on building a strong sense of community for employees across the college.
