If you are an international student and you want to apply at Rio Salado College, you need to submit all of the following documents. Please note that all seven documents must be submitted at the same time.

Required Documents

New Students

  1. Original/Concurrent Authorization Letter (F-1 Visa students only)

    F-1 Visa students are required to submit an Original/Concurrent Authorization Letter from a designated school official (the university that issued your I-20). Your application will not be processed until the letter is received by us. The Original/Concurrent Authorization Letter must:
      • State that the student has permission to take one or more classes at Rio Salado College
      • State that the student is a full-time student and in good academic standing for the current term
      • Be emailed directly to oie@riosalado.edu
  2. Passport (only color copy accepted)
  3. Visa (only color copy accepted)
  4. I-20
  5. I-94
  6. Unofficial transcripts (PDF copy)
  7. Rio Salado Student Information Form available here
  8. List the class in which you want to enroll and the preferred start date

Returning Students

  1. Original/Concurrent Authorization Letter (F-1 Visa students only)

How you submit your documents depends on where you attend classes.

Bring all required documents in-person to Rio Salado College Tempe if you attend:

  • Another educational institution located in Maricopa County, Arizona

Submit all required forms together by email to oie@riosalado.edu if you attend:

  • Another educational institution within the U.S.
