Overview of teaching to serve the needs of diverse English learner (EL) students in grades K-8. Includes comparison and evaluation of various language educational models, including Structured English Immersion (SEI) and the Arizona Language Development Approach (LDA) with a focus on asset based behaviors and expectations, integrated and targeted English Language Development (ELD) instruction.
