SPE424 (4 Credits)
Examines eligibility criteria for students to receive and maintain special education and related services. Overviews nondiscriminatory assessments and adaptive behavior measurements, including educational achievement tests, standardized diagnostic tests, and intelligence tests, as well as the concepts, laws, current issues, and procedures that relate to formal and informal assessment of students. Prerequisites: Formal acceptance to a Maricopa Community College undergraduate state approved teacher preparation program or permission of Department or Division.
