Application of research-based instruction in elementary science. Topics include developmentally appropriate instruction, and assessment, cross-curricular integration of scientific concepts and problem solving skills, lesson plan preparation, evidence-based teaching strategies, and teaching resources. Emphasis on current professional teaching standards and Arizona Academic Standards. In order to register for this course, Rio will need to verify that you have completed the prerequisite(s).
