Application of research-based instruction in elementary mathematics. Topics include developmentally appropriate instruction, and assessment, cross-curricular integration of mathematics and logical problem solving, lesson plan preparation, evidence-based teaching strategies, and teaching resources. Emphasis on current trends, professional teaching standards and Arizona Academic Standards. In order to register for this course, Rio will need to verify that you have completed the prerequisite(s).
